THIS IS A MASSIVE WIP. THINGS WILL BE REWRITTEN, THINGS WILL BE EXPANDED. ETC.
Origin was the home planet of humanity for most of our history, but 874 years ago it was shattered. The reason for this has been lost to time. Some scholars argue that humanity destroyed themselves, but most believe it to be the work of the gods, their motivations ever elusive. After the shattering humanity built itself up to new heights, terraforming planets and building thousands of habitats in space. But with this technology came new weaponry, which we used to push ourselves to the brink of extinction. How does humanity survive in the aftermath?
I welcome you to this worldbuilding project.
For a summary, I think the best desription of the world would be post apocalyptic sci-fi with ambigous magical elements or something akin to that. People mostly live isolated on space habitats (with some exploring the abandoned planets) made out of wondorous technology they cannot hope to reproduce, craftsmen are once again sought after, as factories where the first thing raised to the ground during the war, and all while worshipping different gods that are often represented by planets.
Now you may ask: What abour the ambigous magic? which I think is a perfectly resonable question. The people living in the world pray, sacrifice and perform rituals in the honor of their god(s). And they possibly work hehe :3
